Jerome C. Chapman IV
Jerome (“Jerry”) Cochran Chapman IV was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, graduated from Mountain Brook High School in 2009 and received a degree in Non-fiction Composition in the English Language from Vanderbilt University in 2013.
In August of 2014, Jerry moved to New York City to clerk for civil litigation firm and begin his studies at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. After specializing in Pretrial Practice and Trial Advocacy, he received his Juris Doctor in May of 2017. He then took and passed the New York Bar Exam that Summer to gain admission to practice and became an associate attorney working to defend corporate clients in the trial Court of the five boroughs, Long Island, and the Downstate Region of New York. Jerry remains admitted to practice in New York.
In May of 2021, Jerry moved home to Birmingham, and took a non-attorney position with Kirk Drennan, P.C. while he studied for the Alabama bar exam. Upon his admission to the Alabama State Bar, Jerry became an associate attorney with Kirk Drennan, P.C. and is proud to serve the members of his community who find themselves in challenging circumstances.
Outside of the office Jerry likes trying new Birmingham restaurants, spending time with family, and has a love-hate relationship with the game of golf.
